Product Images

All product images used are for illustration purposes only. Although we do our best to ensure that we have the correct and latest product images available, we can't always guarantee that this is the case as some images are not available and/or manufacturers may change the design of their packaging without notice (as is their right). As a result, when you receive your order, the product may appear to be different on the outside but there are no variations to the actual product that was ordered within the packaging.

Cartridge Yields

All cartridge yields are estimates and are supplied by the manufacturer or cartridge suppliers. The cartridge yields are based on a standard created by International Organisation of Standardisation (ISO). ISO set this standard by devising a set of pages for figuring out the printer ink yield and toner yield for various cartridges. These documents are a part of the ISO/IEC 24712 series. Actual yield will vary depending upon the amount of content on the page.

Customer Guarantee - Refund & Exchange

We offer a 28 day "change of mind" policy from date of purchase. You are welcome to send your purchase back for a full refund or exchange, if the product you purchased from us is still in an unopened box and is in new saleable condition. Warranty & Returns

InkBay.com.au is an authorised dealer / reseller. We are able to offer the Manufacturer’s warranty, which is a period of 90 days and commences from the date of the tax invoice. During the warranty period if the product is found to be defective it will be repaired or replaced as per the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

If you experience problems with your product within the warranty period, please email us at info@inkbay.com.au and we will confirm the warranty process for that item. To return a product, you must first contact us to obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) Number. We will also need a copy of your receipt / proof of purchase before we can arrange a Return Authorisation (RA) Number for the item. Also, please ensure that the RA number is clearly marked on the outside of the parcel you are returning.

Incorrectly Ordered

• If you are not sure if the cartridge you have ordered is the correct one for your printer, please contact us as sometimes certain cartridges are compatible with several different printer brands of machine.

• As a rule we don't give credits for incorrectly ordered goods where the goods are over 7 days old from the invoice date.

• All incorrectly ordered goods returns must be unopened and in undamaged condition otherwise your credit may be rejected.

• Please use an outer box when returning items to ensure that the original box is not marked with sticky tape / labels / tags etc.

• It is your responsibility to pay the freight charges and insurance back to TonerBay Pty Ltd and to ensure that you have proof of delivery for goods being returned to us. Goods that are shipped with "receiver to pay" will be rejected by us, leaving the courier responsible

Faulty Goods

Ink Cartridges and Toners

• There are many occasions where both toners and ink cartridges are found not to be faulty. Please ensure that you have performed your printer recommended cleaning procedures before returning goods to us.

• There is a manufactures prerequisite that laser or copier returns must have a printed page from the cartridge in question returned with the cartridge. There will be no exceptions as we are unable to obtain credits without these.

• Cartridges have to be a minimum weight (normally) at least 75% full) before we can accept them for return.

• If the products have been refilled or tampered with in any way, the credit will be rejected.

• All cartridges must be sealed and secured to ensure that they do not leak or get lost in transit.

• The warranty is limited to the cost of goods only, as stated on your invoice, and is the amount you actually paid us for the goods. There are no implied warranties beyond what is stated here.

• Once we have received the cartridges, we will then evaluate them and advise the result. This could take up to 60 days for Genuine Cartridges and immediately for Compatible Cartridges.

Shipping costs for warranty

It is your responsibility to pay the freight or postage costs to return the item to us. If your item arrives damaged, DOA or faulty within 7 days, we will pay for the return shipping. Please contact us by e-mailing info@inkbay.com.au and we will arrange a pre-paid return service. We cannot arrange a pick-up from your delivery address, you will need to drop the item to the post office.

If the fault occurs after the first 7 days but within the warranty period, you will need to return the item to us at your own cost.

We advise returning goods to us via registered mail / courier with tracking to ensure their safety as we do not take responsibility for goods lost in transit.


Further to that, warranty does not cover for: 1, accident; 2, abuse; 3, neglect; 4, as a result of normal wear and tear; 5, improper installation; 6, careless handling; 7, tampering; 8, any major or minor disassembly; 11, submersions; 12, deliberate abuse; 13, products used in applications for which they were not intended.

All damaged goods due to the above reasons will be also invalid for return and exchange. The sole responsibility of shall be the repair or replacement of any defective items caused by reasons other than what is stated above.

If an item is sent to us for warranty and deemed not to be covered by warranty we will only return the item to the original purchaser once the correct re-shipping charges have been paid. In the event that such re-shipping charges remain unpaid for more than 30 days, the goods will be deemed abandoned and may be disposed of at our discretion without any liability to compensate or reimburse the original purchaser.
